Safety & User Interactions

Staying safe when connecting with others

Relocate Bridge helps people connect, but users are responsible for using their own judgement when communicating or interacting with other users.

When communicating with another user, including through external platforms such as WhatsApp, email, phone, social media or other messaging services, you do so at your own discretion and responsibility.

Relocate Bridge does not control or take responsibility for interactions that take place outside the platform.

Users should be cautious before sharing:

  • Phone numbers
  • Personal email addresses
  • Home or temporary addresses
  • Identity documents
  • Financial information
  • Passwords or login details
  • Private social media accounts
  • Any other sensitive personal information

If users choose to meet another person they discovered through Relocate Bridge in person, they should take appropriate precautions, meet in a safe public place, tell someone they trust where they are going, and use their own judgement about whether the meeting is appropriate.

Users should never send money directly to another user outside an official Relocate Bridge transaction unless they fully understand and accept the risks.

Relocate Bridge does not guarantee the identity, intentions, behaviour or actions of another user beyond the verification and moderation measures explicitly provided by the platform.

If you experience suspicious, abusive, threatening or fraudulent behaviour, report it to Relocate Bridge through the appropriate reporting or support channels.

Use of Relocate Bridge to connect with another person does not create a guarantee that the person is safe, trustworthy or suitable for personal interaction outside the platform.
