Who Can Be a Local Expert?

Eligibility and expectations

Local Experts are people with genuine experience of living in the place they offer advice about.

To become a Local Expert, you generally need to:

  • Currently live in the country and city you provide guidance about.
  • Local Experts should generally have at least 1 year of genuine experience living in the country/city they provide advice about. This is not a hard-and-fast rule. Relocate Bridge may consider people with shorter experience where they have strong relevant local knowledge and experience.
  • Citizens of the country may also qualify where they currently live there and have genuine knowledge of the location.
  • Complete your Local Expert profile and select your areas of expertise and languages.
  • Complete the Relocate Bridge verification process before offering paid sessions.

Local Experts can be expats, long-term residents, citizens, remote workers, digital nomads or other people with genuine local experience.

Local Experts share their personal knowledge and experience. They are not automatically qualified professional advisers, lawyers, immigration consultants, tax advisers, doctors or other regulated professionals.

Important: Advice provided by Local Experts represents their own personal experience, knowledge and opinions. Movers make their own decisions based on any information received and do so at their own responsibility. Relocate Bridge Ltd and its staff do not provide or guarantee the accuracy of individual Local Expert advice and are not responsible for decisions made based on such advice, subject to applicable law.
